Tactile Technologies to Host 2017 Johannesburg ExpoIn just a few short weeks, on the 17th August, Tactile Technologies, a leader in touch screen technology in South Africa, will be hosting an expo on their product range. This year, the event will be held at Montecasino in Fourways, Johannesburg. The delegates are a mix of leading industry service providers and end users in retail, hospitality, gaming, telecommunications, banking, industry, and government.

Tactile Technologies will be sending their country channel manager, Anthony Shumba, to present at the event, the chief goal of which is to exhibit their range of state-of-the-art touch screen technology to a private, invite-only audience. During this event, guests are provided with a roadmap to any and all new products and technologies in the company’s portfolio, as well as an update on some of the major projects they have been working on, both current and upcoming.

“We want to make the market aware of who we are and what we have to offer…”

“We host these private expos every year,” said Anthony Shumba. “We invite key customers and other channel managers, who can then invite the end users and retailers they wish. Our goal with these expos is to demonstrate what our products can do for them.”

Through the expo, Tactile Technologies aims to create an environment in which they can showcase their full product range to all facets of the market, as well as network and establish relationships with other industry-related individuals and companies. The Tactile team also aims to help their existing clients identify which touch screen solutions, or other products, can fulfill their business requirements.

Product Exhibitions and Presentations

The half-day expo features exhibitions of Tactile Technologies’ extensive product range, as well as on stage demonstrations and presentations. According to Anthony Shumba, Tactile will be exhibiting its latest desktop and open frame touch monitors, All-in-one touch computers (Windows and Android OS), rugged tablets, touch screen self-service kiosks, and MiniPOS Android, mobile POS, and customisable PC platforms.

The upcoming Johannesburg expo will also feature presentations by two representatives from Firich Taiwan (FEC), who will be talking about the latest POS products, trends, and success stories. FEC is a global leader in POS systems and a partner to Tactile Technologies.
