At only two inches thin, the new 55-inch 5502L touch screen signage monitor carries the torch for Elo’s revolutionary 3rd generation IDS 02 Series. The 5502L’s ultra-thin form factor is hailed as a breakthrough in the arena of display technology and, with a variety of high quality interactive configurations, it seamlessly integrates with most modern interiors, settings, and environments.

Features of the New Elo 5502L Touch Screen Signage
The new, innovative 5502L touch screen from Elo is suited to a vast array of industries and commercial markets, such as corporate, retail, healthcare, and hospitality. When mounted on the wall, the 5502L touch screen signage model can be used as a sophisticated interactive display for information for training, presentations, meetings, and projects that require collaboration. Whether it’s the banquet hall of a hotel, the conference room of an attorney firm, the lecture theatre of a university, or the walls of a large retail store, the 5502L is the ideal large format “wall tablet.”
Infrared, PCAP Touch, and Non-Touch Technology
The new Elo 5502L comes in a choice of three different configurations: (1) Infrared (IR), which reads up to 20 touch points, (2) Elo’s TouchProTM Pro-M (Mesh) Projected Capacitive (PCAP), which can read up to 12 touch points, and (3) non-touch, for use when mounted inside an enclosure with a glass overlay.
This variety of configurations, which are compatible with Microsoft Windows® 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 operating systems, gives the Elo 5502L a mixed-deployment unified design. IR and PCAP offer a fast, accurate, and highly sensitive touch response.
State-of-the-art HD Display Technology and Edge-to-edge Glass
The 5502L touch screen has crystal clear, high definition image quality with a high contrast and brightness LED-backlit LCD panel and an extended colour gamut. It’s intelligent on-board display technology senses the viewing environment’s light levels and ambient colours to actively optimize its colour display. Users can select from several display modes, including movie, photo, and gaming modes.
The Elo 5502L also features edge-to-edge glass, and with no grooves or crevices to harbour grease, dirt, dust, and other debris (which can become a problem in public settings and with public use) the entire display is easy to clean and keep sterile sterile. This latter point is of particular importance in hospitality and healthcare settings.

With a thickness of only two inches, the Elo 5502L is designed to seamlessly fit into any modern interior and can be wall mounted in just about any space.
