Touch screen kiosks have become a highly serviceable tool for businesses of all sizes and within almost every industry. Not only can interactive kiosks be used to establish an additional channel of revenue, but they can also improve customer experience and satisfaction, expand a business’ service, and take a company’s brand into the 21st Century.
The touch screen kiosks we design and fabricate here at Tactile Technologies are constructed from 2mm-thick, powder-coated mild steel, which can be customized with any branding color, design and/or logo. While we don’t do the branding ourselves, we’re happy to work closely with the marketing department of our clients to get this component of the kiosk presentation 100% correct.
As an optional extra, our kiosks can be made with an open frame touch screen monitor already installed, the size and model of which our sales team will assist our clients in choosing. Our clients also have the option of including, in their design, a fanless CPU computer for low heat and dust output and noiseless, high-performance.
Over and above kiosk design, touch screen model and PC, however, there are a number of add-on hardware options we make available. Touch Screen Kiosk Printers
Self-service touch screen kiosks can use printers for a suite of applications:
Tickets, receipts, stickers, coupons, photographs, and more… Whatever your kiosk needs to print, your kiosk design can include the perfect printer to handle the task.
Touch Screen Kiosk Barcode Scanners
1D and 2D barcode scanners can be affixed to touch screen kiosks to provide customers with information on the product and/or its pricing or as a way of scanning items for purchasing.
Touch Screen Kiosk Keyboard
A rugged keyboard can be integrated into the kiosk design for applications that require customers to manually input information. This can either serve as an adjunctive to a digital keyboard, which is displayed on the touch screen or for software programs that don’t make a digital keyboard available. The keyboards Tactile Technologies supplies are specially engineered to withstand the rigors of public use, as well as exposure to the elements.
Touch Screen Kiosk Web Camera
A web camera can prove exceptionally useful for touch screen kiosks whose application requires photo identification or video recording for communication or some kind of security measure.
Touch Screen Kiosk Fingerprint Scanner
A fingerprint scanner is a great hardware add-on for security applications, such as visitor processing into high-security areas, conferences or campuses. It can also be used to conveniently, quickly and securely “log” users into their accounts, especially where banking details and payments are required.
