In December 2014, Tactile Technologies partnered with RCA, which was to become a reseller of our Elo medical grade touch screen monitors. RCA is a distributor of capital equipment and related surgical consumables for the medical industry, so the relationship was an intuitive one!

Tactile Technologies offers a range of medical grade Elo touch screen monitors. These devices are suitable for use in the hospital environment and may even be installed in operating theatres.

The particular model used by the RCA is the Elo 1929LM desktop touch screen monitor, which boasts state-of-the-art “AccuTouch” technology, outstanding image clarity and resolution, as well as the full suite of modern accessories, from a built-in audio amp and speakers to DisplayPort video connectors and an adapter for DVI.

What sets the Elo 1929LM apart as a “medical grade” touch screen monitor is its compliance with multiple safety and electrical certification standards. Additionally, the new plastic housing with a more densely packed material structure can withstand long term disinfecting with chemicals. Equipped with an LED backlit state-of-the-art LCD panel, the monitor is environmentally friendly with reduced power consumption.
