Earlier this month (8th to 12th October), representatives from Newland EMEA attended the GITEX Technology Week, which was held this year in Dubai UAE. GITEX, which stands for the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition, is one of the most influential and ground-breaking annual technology events in the world. The show itself is sprawled out across 93,000 square meters and hosts upwards of 150,000 attendees from almost 100 different countries.
Essentially, you’ll find the who’s who of technology at GITEX – the innovators, investors, manufacturers, and more; the very people and organisations that are shaping the future of technology. It is therefore a privilege that Newland EMEA was invited to showcase its products and services for the fourth year in a row. With a set up at stand A3-25B, Newland EMEA was able to connect with thousands of people within the industry (and in a spectrum of related industries) and help business owners advance their enterprises and its operations.
With so much having happened this year – so many advancements, new products, and upgrades – Newland EMEA had plenty to showcase at GITEX, including the soon-to-be-released HR42 Halibut Datamatrix handheld scanner and the upgraded versions of the FM30 Grouper stationary scanner, which has proved to play a pivotal role in a range of mobile payment solutions worldwide.
Newland EMEA is a fast expanding enterprise with no sign of slowing or stopping and our ever-evolving product line is evidence of that. The team at Newland EMEA was delighted to have the opportunity to present this, as well as new opportunities and trends with industry peers and business owners.
Some of products Newland EMEA showcased at the GITEX Technology Week earlier this month included the company’s range of mobile computers, micro kiosks, and barcode scanners, which have been perfected for an abundance of online to offline (O2O) applications. Also on show was their Android smartphone PDA’s, the Symphone range of which includes consumer-style devices like the N7000 and rugged devices created for harsher operating environments.
