Dear customer, supplier, partner,

Management of the Corona Virus.

With offices in Taiwan and Belgium, we have already been heavily exposed to the virus. Firstly as friends to our staff, we have taken the necessary precautions to safeguard their safety and wellbeing. In South Africa, this includes ensuring staff avoid hotspots such as shopping centres and taxis as much as possible. We do so by sponsoring online groceries buying and deliveries and by re-organising their transport to and from our five offices in the country.

Also in our South African offices, we ensure all gets cleaned on a continuous basis. We provide the necessary tools for our staff to remain safe at all times. We provide advice and are in regular contact with medical experts to ensure we remain up-to-date. We have halted all international and local travelling and make more use of technology instead.

Our Belgian office is affected by the lockdown implemented by the government. We again make use of technology and try and work from home as much as we can without abandoning the office to ensure continuity for our customers.

Firstly as a human being and secondly as an employer, I hope from the bottom of my heart that the virus will not spread in South Africa as it has in Europe. That is the last thing South Africa needs in these already challenging times. In Europe, I hope we will hit the peak very soon as the continent is facing a crisis it hasn't seen since the 1940s.

Tactile Technologies remains operational, in Belgium - South Africa and Taiwan. Dear customer do take in account and please understand that lead times are not getting shorter, it is becoming more and more difficult to get hold of stock as the true impact of the interruption of production in the East is only now manifesting itself. On top of that, the exchange rate situation in South Africa is pushing business to the edge of despair.

We are all in the same boat, let us do what we can to help each other through these difficult times.

There is always light at the end of the tunnel.
